Everyone builds their life on something. There is the possible of foundations of hard work, good character, financial success, perhaps values of kindness and equality; to name a few. All people, the so called religious and non-religious build life on a foundation of something. The letter that the Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Colossae is an encouragement to build life on the foundation on Jesus (Colossians 2:6). Paul also gives practical life examples of what that means against other cultures and patterns of life that surrounded those in Colossae. Over the next seven weeks we will explore what the firm trust Paul also encourages us to.
