Summary
Truth, knowing, belonging, and being loved are desires that all humans have. What makes these desires particularly fascinating is that each is like a thirst that is never quenched, there is always more to be enjoyed! In this little series we look at the short letter of 1 John and discover how each desire can find a meaningful and beautiful satisfaction. The series topics are:
- True Fellowship, 1 John 1:1-2:11 (May 7th)
- True Children of God, 1 John 2:28-3:10 (May 14th)
- True Love, 1 John 4:7-21 (May 21st)
The flow of the series goes like this: Week 1—we come into true fellowship with God through the propitiating work of Christ; Week 2—the nature of that fellowship is as beloved children of God; and Week 3—it as those who are beloved that we become those who love like God does.
