Summary
The amount of change, uncertainty, and new aspects of life to include that we had to manage over the last 12 months has left many of us weary! Summer is often a time for a break, a slow-down from the normal schedule, a time for rest. So in January we will look at rest from God’s perspective, seeking renewal from our weariness in Him. Here are the bible passages that we will look at:
- Rest in a Shepherd, Psalm 23 and John 10:11-21 (Jan 10)
- Rest in Jesus’ provision, Psalm 16 and John 5:17-18; 6:25-29 (Jan 17)
- Rest in firm salvation, Psalm 62 and Matthew 11:27-30 (Jan 24)
- Rest by obedience, Psalm 95 and Hebrews 4:1-12 (Jan 31)
