Summary
This year we are following Marks account of ‘Holy week’, beginning with how Mark describes Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. On Easter Sunday we will look at the remarkable event of Jesus’ resurrection and consider what that means for us today. On the second Sunday of Easter, our sermon will be from John’s account of Jesus appearing to the disciples. Here is the list:
- March 29 (Palm Sunday)–Mark 11:1-18;
- April 2 (Maundy Thursday)–Various readings from Mark 11-14;
- April 3 (Good Friday)–Mark 15:1-47;
- April 5 (Resurrection Sunday)–Mark 15:42-16:8; and
- April 12–John 20:19-31.
